Top It off | Goorin Hats

The holy grail of hats is my wool Goorin. You guys know me, I’m all about quality and each of their hats are handmade. They have been around since the late 1800′s and like their company, the hat to is timeless. It has become one of my staple pieces and something I find myself constantly wearing. I was fortunate enough to visit their Melrose location and speak with Mariana, one of their Shopkeepers at their Melrose location. Let me just say, she knows all when it comes to hats! The company is enriched with so much history. She walked me through hat by hat, explaining to me the different materials that they import for each hat. What I found most interesting is there is only a limited amount of hats made for many of their styles and then that style isn’t made again. One of a kind!

Tarte Lipsticks

So lately I have been absolutely obsessed with these lipsticks from Tarte. I’m not a huge, huge fan of lipsticks, these have slightly changed my mind, with the natural look they have to them. Not only are they creamy and moisturizing, but the color also lasts as well.

How I Deal With Stress [VIDEO]

Hello guys! I know I really don’t do a lot of personal videos with you all, so I wanted to do a video on how I deal with stress and ways that I help curve it. Let’s face it, we all come across it. The main thing is just finding that outlet that enables you to release all that stress. For me I’ve been lucky to find a couple that really have helped me. I hope maybe it will help out at least one of you guys! Let me know if you like me doing these kinds of videos and I will try and do more for you guys!

Snowboarding Weekend!

Hello all -

Where in the world has Morgan been on here?! I’m BACK! (Hopefully.) I realized the other week, that I really wanted to start blogging more and that I need to stop neglecting my blog!

Last weekend my friends and I took a snowboarding trip up to Big Bear. If you are familiar with Big Bear, I know what you are probably thinking. Big Bear, snow? It’s really a hit or miss, but we lucked out and ended up getting a lot of fresh powder! It’s been a weird feeling not being in the mountains and snow, since I’m from the East coast. I didn’t realize how much I have really missed the mountains and having the luxury of being able to stay and go whenever I pleased with my parents having a cabin.

For the trip, I ended up taking all my Nils outerwear. The thing I loved most about it was, I was able to rock their base layers and throw on my ski pants and jacket whenever I was hitting the slopes and I was good to go. I am obsessed with their tops, because they’re super long, so when the unspeakable happens (you wipeout) you know you’re covered. One of the biggest problems I have found in ski pants in the past, is that my legs get hot and sticky and that’s not a fun feeling. I love how these pants are so breathable, so my legs don’t feel like they’re in a hot yoga class. Last, but not least, my jacket – super warm and waterproof. The first night be arrived the snow was really coming down, so it really helped me to stay dry, because hey, I’m not turning down a snowball fight here.

L’Oreal BB Cream Review

We all like our skin to look flawless with the lightest weight foundation, right?

Before you laugh, yes I did get this in a shade darker than I normally would. Unfortunately, they were sold out of all other shades. To my surprise, this actually works on my face.

The L’Oreal BB Cream claims to: prime, correct, hydrate, perfect.

Primes- This is one job I think it does well at. It really seems to smooth out your skin, leaving it baby soft.
Corrects- To be perfectly honest, I really can’t tell a difference. It doesn’t seem to do anything, but add a slight tint to your face.
Hydrates- I don’t have terrible dry skin, but after applying the bb cream, I do notice a nice glow on my face.
Perfects- Well.. Isn’t this just another word for corrects?

All in all, I think this is a great bb cream for someone who isn’t looking for coverage- granted bb creams aren’t known for corverage.

Overall- 8.5
